New from Criterion Industries, Barwon is a new suite of aluminium doors inspired by recent industry trends for doors with slim frames. We developed the suite with commercial and residential settings in mind, and with an overall thickness of 38mm - resulting in a sleek finish.

With Barwon, the slim design of both the door frame and the glass it contains serves to make a space appear larger than it is, adding to its overall comfort and appeal. Particularly in residential settings, people are looking to have more openness and connectedness between rooms.
From the perspective of maintaining a space’s environment, aluminium is effective in resisting moisture, which entails a long life span and low maintenance. It shows its strength through its unlikeliness to dent, twist, expand, or rust.

The Barwon Door Suite offers a great deal of variety and flexibility, making it suitable for countless settings. It’s available in hinged, sliding, pivot, and bi-fold configurations, and with either powdercoat or anodise finishes.
Although slim, the integral structure is strong and durable. In fact, the strength of the suite’s integral structure allows for glass up to 12.8mm thick, and complements Criterion's range of partition systems.
