The Project
Solstad Farstad is a multinational shipping conglomerate with a number of offices around the world. June 2017 saw the merger of Solstad Offshore, Farstad Shipping, Deep Sea Supply and Rem Maritime. This joining of forces has made Solstad Farstad the current leading specialist provider of offshore tonnage to the international oil and gas industry.
Designfit Interiors recently completed the blank slate development of the Solstad Farstad Perth office, for which Criterion supplied the aluminium partition systems. This collaboration achieved the goal aesthetic and functionality sought by the client, and an impressive state-of-the-art office, fit for the world’s largest shipping company.
Producing Outstanding Results
Notably, the shipping display which is the statement office embellishment was constructed using IBeam. With its industrial-style appeal, IBeam was perfectly suited to house the ship models which are significantly representative of the company. The raw yet refined characteristics of IBeam perfectly compliment and reflect the nature of the industry.
The boardroom and meeting room utilised the Platinum 90 Integrated Sliding System, creating a very sleek and minimalistic design.
The Platinum 90 and Aurora Aluminium Doors were used for the construction of the general offices, as was the Decorum Aluminium Skirting.
